Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Garnish with

  • Sesame seeds
  • Green scallions sliced

Instructions

  • Pat boneless skinless chicken breasts with a paper towel to soak up any excess moisture.
  • Mix all marinade ingredients in a sealable bag. Squeeze the bag a few times to incorporate the ingredients well.
  • Add chicken to the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken breasts. Seal the bag well. Place in the refrigerator to marinade overnight or for 6-8 hours.
  • Heat grill over medium heat for a few minutes until the grill reaches between 350 and 400 degrees. Clean grates if needed and rub with oil to prevent the chicken from sticking as it cooks.
  • Once the grill has preheated, place the chicken on the grill and cook the first side for 5-7 minutes.
  • Flip and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Increase or decrease cook times according to the size of your chicken.
  • Serve immediately with sesame seeds and scallions
