Honey ginger grilled chicken is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The marinade's irresistible combination of honey and ginger creates a tantalizing glaze that's perfect for summer BBQs or weeknight dinners.
Pat boneless skinless chicken breasts with a paper towel to soak up any excess moisture.
Mix all marinade ingredients in a sealable bag. Squeeze the bag a few times to incorporate the ingredients well.
Add chicken to the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken breasts. Seal the bag well. Place in the refrigerator to marinade overnight or for 6-8 hours.
Heat grill over medium heat for a few minutes until the grill reaches between 350 and 400 degrees. Clean grates if needed and rub with oil to prevent the chicken from sticking as it cooks.
Once the grill has preheated, place the chicken on the grill and cook the first side for 5-7 minutes.
Flip and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Increase or decrease cook times according to the size of your chicken.
