Quick Air Fryer Blackened Chicken Tenders are perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and tender on the inside. With a homemade blackened seasoning, you can prepare and air fry these delicious tenders in under 15 minutes.
½teaspoonancho chili powder or regular chili powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoonsalt

Instructions
In a small bowl combine paprika, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. In a separate bowl mix the chicken tenders with oil until well combined. Add blackened seasoning and coat the tenders on all sides.
Spray the air fryer tray with cooking spray and add the seasoned chicken tenders. Air fry at 380 degrees for 8 minutes.
Flip the chicken tenders at the 4 minute mark. Then place the air fryer basket back into the air fryer and continue cooking for the remaining 4 minutes.
When the chicken is done, let cool for a couple minutes to allow the crispy exterior to form. Then, serve with your favorite condiment.

Pro Tip: Remove the tendon from the tenderloins before seasoning. Make Them Spicy: Add ½ teaspoon black pepper, red pepper flake or ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper to the blackened seasoning. Start with a little at a time and add more as needed. Storage and Reheating: Keep in the fridge for 3-4 days for short-term storage. For long-term storage, freeze for up to 3 months in an airtight container. Reheat in the air fryer at 350 for 3-5 minutes or up to 12 minutes from frozen.
