Ingredients

For The Sauce

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch

For The Stir Fry

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 white onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 lb stir fry beef
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil over medium heat in a skillet. Once heated add onion, pepper, garlic, and ginger. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until the onion begins to turn translucent.
  • While the veggies are cooking, stir all the ingredients for the sauce into a small bowl. Whisk until well combined and set aside.
  • After the veggies have cooked add the stir fry beef and top with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until the stir fry beef has browned on all sides.
  • Once done, give the sauce a quick stir to redistribute the corn starch and pour into the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced by half or about 3-5 minutes. The sauce will be thickened by this point. Serve immediately.
