Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 slices thick cut bread
  • butter for frying
  • maple syrup

Instructions

  • In a small bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour into a shallow dish and set aside.
  • Place the cinnamon toast crunch cereal in a bag and crush into small pieces. Place into a shallow dish and set aside.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and let melt. Use enough butter to cover the bottom of your pan. The amount used will vary based on the size of your skillet.
  • While the butter is melting, place the bread into the egg mixture and coat both sides. Then, transfer the coated bread to the cinnamon toast crunch mixture and coat both sides.
  • Place the bread into the skillet and pan fry each side for about 3-5 minutes or until each side has browned and cooked. If you find that your cereal is burning, reduce the heat and flip.
  • Serve the cinnamon toast crunch french toast with butter, maple syrup, and or fresh fruit.
